International merchant
- Application Process
- This program only applies to transactions made at overseas luxury brand merchants.
- Cardholder must make a transaction first (minimum of $1,000).
- After a successful transaction, the cardholder can access www.cbbankipp.com and apply for a Installment Payment Plan.
- The cardholder will have the option of choosing a 3 month plan with 3% interest, 6 month plan with 6% interest, 12 month plan with 14.4%,
15 month plan with 18%.
- Cardholder must enter all requested information and all the information must be valid. Invalid information will automatically be rejected.
- The amount used should not exceed the credit limit amount.
- After applying, a CB Bank officer will contact the cardholder within 7 working days to inform them of the approval or rejection of their application.
- Approval and Rejection Process
An application may be rejected if:
- The provided information is incorrect, or is inaccurate to the actual transaction.
- The transaction is made too close the cardholder’s statement date. The transaction will not be processed if it has already passed the cardholder’s statement cut-off date.
- The submitted card number is not a CB Bank Credit Card.
- The cardholder has combined several transactions to meet the minimum transaction amount.
An application may be approved if:
- All the provided information is correct and true.
- If the transactions have been made at merchants of the specified criteria.
- Meets all the business requirements.
- Merchant Criteria
Only transactions from overseas luxury brands for fashion items are eligible to be converted to IPP within this program.
Merchants and items that fall under the following list are not eligible for IPP:
- Non Luxury Brands
- Non fashion items
- Jewelry
- Electronics
- Once the IPP application has been process and approved, CB Bank will deduct a handling fee of MMK 10,000. This is non-refundable.
- Once the IPP application has been approved, the customer may not cancel their transaction or refund their item.
- Early payment of the cardholder’s Installment Payment will be accepted, but all general fees are non-refundable.
- CB Bank’s IPP interest terms do not apply to CB Bank’s Credit Card interest rate.
- The following terms and conditions of CB Bank will be subject to periodic changes. Notification will be made as appropriate.
- Law and jurisdiction
- These terms and conditions are laid down by the Union of Myanmar law.
- Terms of the country's jurisdiction of any court shall be submitted for granted.
The terms and conditions expressed in English are for reference only and if there are any differences between them and the Myanmar version, the Myanmar shall prevail. List Card Account means the card holder's spending account records are kept. The cardholder Agreement is the relevant agreement related to the credit card holder's card. Instalment Period is set by the CB Bank and included in the application form for Instalment Plan for the purchase.
Local merchant
- Application Process
- The local 0% interest IPP program only applies to selected CB Bank merchants listed in the local IPP application form.
- Cardholder must make a transaction first (minimum of MMK 100,000).
- After a successful transaction, the cardholder can access www.cbbankipp.com and apply for a Installment Payment Plan.
- Cardholder must enter all requested information and all the information must be valid. Invalid information will automatically be rejected.
- The amount used should not exceed the credit limit amount.
- After applying, a CB Bank officer will contact the cardholder within 7 working days to inform them of the approval or rejection of their application.
